Born to Be Equal (2022)

Born to Be Equal was a project focused on empowering young women and girls from rural areas by introducing them to the world of web design. Through hands-on training in website creation, the project aimed to spark interest in digital careers and promote economic independence. Participants gained practical skills in building websites from scratch, learning the basics of design, coding, and content management. Beyond technical knowledge, the project encouraged self-confidence, creativity, and the belief that women, regardless of their background, belong in the tech space. By opening the door to new career possibilities, Born to Be Equal helped create a pathway toward financial empowerment and greater gender equality in the digital economy. The project was supported by the Australian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
